Sod Installation FAQ
With proper watering, sod begins rooting within 10 to 14 days. Full establishment takes about 4 to 6 weeks. We provide detailed aftercare instructions on install day.
No. We always remove the old lawn first. Laying sod over dead or existing grass traps moisture and prevents root contact with the soil.
Spring through early fall is ideal. We can install sod from May to October in Durham Region. Early fall is excellent because cooler temperatures reduce watering needs.
