Who we are
This policy explains how Michael Durham Landscaping, a landscaping and hardscaping company based in Whitby, Ontario, collects, uses and protects personal information through this website and when you contact us. What we collect
When you send a quote request, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number, street address, the service you are interested in, your city and your message. We also record which page of the website you sent the form from.
When you call or email us, we keep the details you share so we can respond and do the work.
Like most websites, the site and the services it uses receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your request, visit your property, prepare a quote, schedule and carry out work, invoice, and keep records of the work we did.
If you submit a quote request, we may also send you occasional news or offers about our services. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to one of those messages or emailing us.
We do not sell your personal information.
Services that process information for us
Netlify hosts this website and receives and stores quote form submissions for us. Netlify may store this information outside Canada, including in the United States.
The website uses Google Tag Manager to load Google measurement and advertising tags, which can use cookies to understand how the site is used and how visitors find us. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage Google ad personalization in your Google account.
The Contact page shows an embedded Google Map, and the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. These Google services receive technical information such as your IP address when the page loads.
Information handled by these providers is also subject to their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including for warranty, accounting and legal requirements, and then delete it.
